“Twenty years from now we will be more disappointed by the things we didn’t do
than by the ones we did do.
So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor.
Catch the trade winds in your sails.

Explore. Dream. Discover.” – Mark Twain

On this site, Journey of a Jungle Girl, I seek to connect the pieces of my life by telling my tales both from my past and from my present. My journey begins deep in a wild untamed jungle in Papua New Guinea... and it continues through the discovery and marvel of this vast and beautiful Earth to facing my fears of the concrete jungle of the modern world and my pursuit of becoming a doctor. They are stories of adventure and discovery, stories that tie together cultures separated by millenniums of time. They will tell of times both adventurous and hopeful and sad and thought provoking. Everyone has a journey to tell; stories of where they came from, stories that makes them who they are. In telling my journey I seek to remember the roots of my past in order to deepen my understanding of myself and the dreams and passions that drive me each day into my future. We only have one life to live - why not live it to its fullest!
